Delaforce Touriga Nacional
Portugal’s most famous variety grows best along the Douro river in the Aciprestes vineyards. The conditions are ideal to mature to perfection the multitude of flavours available in this noble variety. After hand picked fruit is fermented and gently macerated, the wine ages for 12 months in French and American oak. Around 10% of these barrels are new.

Tasting notes
The subtle vanilla and toast aromas have combined beautifully with plum fruit to evolve into an extraordinarily complex nose: deep blackcurrant flavour, cedar, cigar. Similar flavours ride on top of a well balanced palate that has firm but mature tannin, very full body and a cleansing mineral acidity. It is the ideal wine to accompany game and meat dishes.
