Delaforce Tinto
This delicious Red is produced from the Aciprestes vineyard which is ideally located on the left bank of the Douro river in the Tua area. Facing north, it has ideal conditions to produce fully ripe table wines. Over four decades ago it was replanted with a field blend of Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca. The grapes are hand picked and fermented in stainless steel tanks with controlled fermentation. The 8 to 10 month ageing regime takes place in wooden vats and small French and American oak barrels.
