Lamblin Fils was founded as long ago as 1690 and has been in the same family since then. Today the company is run by brothers Michel & Didier and their sons Clement & Alexandre who represent the 12th generation. Lamblin are based in Maligny where they have vinification facilities of 16,000 HL in stainless steel. Lamblin produce around 4.5 million bottles a year in total of which Chablis represents about 1 million bottles. Whilst the company itself does not own vineyards, they have long-term contracts with family members and growers accounting for 40 hectares which provides them with 25% of their annual requirement.
