Brown Brothers Limited Release Durif
Durif is an exciting innovative varietal for Brown Brothers. All the fruit for this wine
comes from our own Heathcote vineyard. The wine is a deep saturated black red
colour with aromas of violets, ripe blackberries and nutmeg. The palate is a big rustic
rich style that has concentrated flavours of blackberry, spice and dried herbs and
excellent integration of fruit and oak. The wine has firm tannins, balanced acidity
and a firm finish. Cellared correctly this wine will age for 5 – 7 years from vintage.
