Vergelegen White is Decanter's South African Wine of the Month!
In the November edition of Decanter Magazine, the Vergelegen White 2007 was chosen as their South African Wine of the Month and nominated as the "splash out white" of the month!
"Vergelen is said to have been founded in the 17th Century. This new release of its Flagship White is a 70% Semillon/21% Sauvignon blend: smoky and ashy with waxy melon notes, lemon curd and green vegetal touches. The strong structure is bolstered by cool minerality."

Vergelegen Flagship White
A pale yellow-green colour with a nose reminiscent of freshly squeezed lime juice. On the palate, it is elegant and refined with mineral overtones and a flinty core dominated by whiffs of black truffle.
