PLB GETS FRUITY WITH FRESITA

PLB Group Ltd. has been appointed UK agent for Fresita from Chile - an 8% ABV sparkling Rosé wine blended with fresh strawberries from Patagonia which is available to the UK Independent sector and On-Trade in both 75cl (RRP £7.99) and 20cl bottle formats.

Previously distributed by Paragon, Fresita has been made by family-owned and run Viña Casal de Gorchs since 1992 and is targeted at predominantly female consumers aged 18-45. Produced using the Charmat Method, grapes for the wine base (a blend of Chardonnay with Sauvignon Blanc and Moscatel) are sourced from owned vineyards in the Colchagua and Maipo Valleys. A purée of fresh, hand-picked strawberries from Patagonia is added to the sparkling wine in the bottle and accounts for around 3% of the total product.
