"From a 300-year old estate in Stellenbosch, a classy red blend that is so wonderfully ripe and juicy, and so skillfully knit together with the sleekest of tannins, that you scarely notice the whopping alcohol level. It is certainly rich, yet soft and smooth. and is spot on with roast pork and crackling."

Spier Vintage Selection Shiraz, Mourvedre, Viognier
Dark plum in colour with a youthful purple edge, the wine shows subtle plum aromas and peppery red fruit, with notes of vanilla and caramel. A mouth-filling palate shows layers of fruit, spiciness and a hint of marmalade with a lingering, velvety finish. IWC Awards 2008 - Bronze
