PLB BECOMES UK DISTRIBUTOR FOR NZ BRAND GROVE MILL

PLB has signed the New Zealand Wine Company (NZWC), becoming UK distributor to the UK On and Off-Trade for the Grove Mill brand. The agency comes to PLB from Paragon Vintners, and the arrangement will be effective from 1st April.

NZWC recently appointed Andrew Barraclough as their UK and EU Business Manager. Andrew will be working alongside PLB’s retail and wholesale teams to further develop a network of listings in the multiple, independent and restaurant sectors.

NZWC is an integrated wine business which owns the world’s first CarboNZero winery - Marlborough-based Grove Mill.

Rob White, NZWC CEO, comments, “Our development in the UK is of critical importance to our overall company strategy and we realised a few months ago that the time had come to change our distribution agreement. We want to thank Paragon for their work and now feel that the resources at PLB are the best fit to help us achieve our long-term goals.”
