Victoria Moore reviews the Cordier Prestige Semillon-Sauvignon 2007 in The Guardian!
Victoria Moore of the Guardian has written an amusing article entitled "The Trouble with White Bordeaux" (1st Feb issue) during which she reviews this Cordier wine:
"...Cordier Prestige Semillon-Sauvignon 2007 could not be more different. Majoring on semillon and partially fermented in new oak, it's big, fat and modern. If it came on holiday with you, you'd expect it to turn up in a yellow sports car, drive too fast, then sit by the pool talking too much and spreading its belly over two sun-loungers. You wouldn't be sure how you felt about it until you sat down to dinner with friends, and then you'd be very glad it was there. This wine needs food. It is also lovely - like lemon curd and hot toast.
A fantastic review for a great wine - you can try it for yourself from Morrisons priced at £9.99, alternatively contact PLB for information on this wine on 01342318282
