PLB pay a visit to Garcia Carrion!

Earlier this month, the PLB retail team set-off to visit Garcia Carrion in Spain, where they were shown the impressive facilities and capabilities of the 6th largest wine producer in the world.

In between indulging in some of the local cuisine, exploring the local area and visiting the García Carrión HQ in Madrid, the retail team were introduced to one of the wineries in Daimiel, which has recently undergone a substantial investment, with the introduction of state-of-the-art bottling lines. These lines have the ability to manage Tetra-Pak, plastic and glass bottles and combined with the very latest machinery, offer the UK off-trade some fantastic and exciting new product development opportunities.
