Vergelegen Flagship White receives fantastic review in Decanter
"Vergelegen is said to have been founded in the 17th century. This new release of its flagship white is a 79% Semillon/21% Sauvignon blend: smoky and ashy with waxy melon notes, lemon curd and green vegetal touches. The strong structure is bolstered by cool minerality."
Vergelegen Flagship White
A pale yellow-green colour with a nose reminiscent of freshly squeezed lime juice. On the palate, it is elegant and refined with mineral overtones and a flinty core dominated by whiffs of black truffle.
