High Altitude

It's home to one of the world's great football teams, the tango, llamas and Evita. But there's much more to Argentina than these popular images. Head west from Buenos Aires, and you'll find the real heart of this vast, diverse country: the Andes.

The Andes dominate Argentina's landscape, life and culture. They run the entire length of the country from the Bolivian border in the north to Tierra del Fuego in the south. The tallest peak, Aconcagua, rises to almost 23,000 feet, and in its shadow, more than 3,000 feet above sea level, lies the Escorihuela Gascón vineyard. And it's here that we make some of Argentina's finest red and white wines.

High Altitude by name - and by nature.
