For our range of superb white and red wines from South Africa's Cape Province, we've chosen the name Dumisani - the native Xhosa word for 'praise'.
And there's a lot to be thankful for. Ample sun, cool breezes, rich soils, soft winter rains and the constant influence of the sea make this the perfect wine-making terroir. Our vineyards, planted on the mountain slopes of the Swartland and Breede River regions, provide ideal conditions for slow ripening, and the grapes are fermented slowly to develop their full varietal character.
Soft, full-bodied, and rich with tropical fruit flavours, Dumisani wines bring you a real taste of South Africa at an affordable price. Now that is something to celebrate.
